Fidune

Privacy policy

Draft of 2026-10-29. Applies to the Fidune beta for iPhone. Fidune is a working name.

Summary

Who we are

The Fidune app is made by Fidune ("BeeLabs", "we"). In this policy, "the app" means the Fidune app for iPhone, and "this site" means the website you are reading. You do not create an account with BeeLabs to use the app.

What each destination sees

This table lists every place data from the app can go in this version, what it receives and what it can observe.

Destinations in the beta
DestinationWhat it receivesWhat it can observe
Your mail provider (Google or Microsoft) Requests from your iPhone for your own mail; the messages you approved to send Everything it already holds for your account, plus request metadata (for example time and IP address)
Apple Private Cloud Compute (only when you turn it on for a feature) The text selected for one request, such as the extracted points of the messages in your brief Apple says the data processed in Private Cloud Compute "is not stored or made accessible to Apple" and is "not retained". Apple may record request size, feature and duration, not linked to your Apple Account. See below.
This site (BeeLabs static host) Nothing from you. The app and your browser only download files from it Like any web server, the IP address and time of each download. Request logging is turned off.
BeeLabs (beta testers only) An anonymous statistics export, only if you are a tester and choose to share it Only what the export preview showed you
Your iPhone and iCloud backups Fidune's files are excluded from backup; anything that is backed up is encrypted under a key that stays on your iPhone Nothing readable

Not in this version. The following destinations are planned for a later version and are not used by the beta: Apple Maps (travel time to meetings), Apple Weather, outside AI services you connect yourself (such as ChatGPT or Claude), your own Mac as a private server, sync between your devices through iCloud (CloudKit), and Apple Health data. Fidune does not make purchases through the App Store in the beta. Before any of these is added, this policy will be updated and the app will ask for your consent where needed.

Siri and Spotlight. Fidune does not give your content to Siri or Spotlight in the beta.

What stays on your iPhone, and for how long

When you connect an account, Fidune downloads the mail you select and stores it on your iPhone. Fidune then builds, on the phone, what it needs for the brief, triage, meeting prep, drafts and commitments.

How it is protected

How long it is kept

You can delete any of this at any time (see How to manage and delete your data).

Apple Private Cloud Compute

Fidune uses Apple's on-device model by default. For some features, you can choose to also use Apple Private Cloud Compute, Apple's server-side model. It is off until you turn it on for a specific feature, and Fidune asks for your permission before the first use.

Google user data and Limited Use

The use of information received from Google Workspace scopes will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What Google data Fidune accesses

Fidune asks Google only for these permissions:

Google permissions
PermissionGoogle's descriptionWhen it is requestedWhy
openid, emailYour Google Account identifier and email addressWhen you connectTo tell your accounts apart and show which one is connected
gmail.readonly"View your email messages and settings."When you connectTo read the mail you select for the brief, triage, meeting prep, drafts and commitments
gmail.send"Send email on your behalf."Only when you turn on sending for that accountTo send a message after you approve it

Fidune does not request gmail.modify. Archiving, read state and labels you set in Fidune stay inside Fidune and are not written back to Gmail. Google Calendar access is planned for the beta; the calendar permissions will be listed here before the app requests them.

How Fidune uses it

Where it is stored

Only on your iPhone, encrypted by the app, for the periods in What stays on your iPhone. Your Google sign-in tokens are kept in the iPhone Keychain, on this device only. Google user data is not stored on any BeeLabs server.

Who it is shared with

How to delete it

Microsoft accounts

Fidune works with Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 accounts through Microsoft Graph. It asks Microsoft only for these permissions:

Microsoft permissions
PermissionWhen it is requestedWhy
openid, email, User.ReadWhen you connectTo identify the connected account
offline_accessWhen you connectTo stay connected without signing in again each time
Mail.ReadWriteWhen you connectTo read the mail you select, and to apply the changes you make in Fidune (for example marking a message read or moving it). Microsoft states this permission does not include sending mail.
Mail.SendOnly when you turn on sending for that accountTo send a message after you approve it

Microsoft data is used, stored, shared and deleted in the same way as Google data above: only for the features you see, only on your iPhone, shared only with Microsoft and, if you turn it on, Apple Private Cloud Compute, and never with BeeLabs.

How to revoke Fidune's access at Microsoft

The app cannot revoke its own Microsoft sign-in from the phone, so Disconnect in Fidune deletes the tokens and the account's data from your iPhone, and you can revoke the permission you granted at Microsoft at any time:

How to manage and delete your data

Everything Fidune stores is on your iPhone, so you control it from the app:

  1. See what is connected: the privacy screen in Settings lists each connected account and the permissions it holds, the mail selected for sync, whether Private Cloud Compute is on, and overnight or Strict mode.
  2. Choose what is synced: select the accounts and folders or labels Fidune may read. Nothing outside your selection is stored.
  3. See what left the phone: the activity log lists every Private Cloud Compute request and every action Fidune carried out.
  4. Disconnect an account: removes its tokens and all of its data. For Google accounts it also revokes Fidune's access at Google.
  5. Delete all: removes every stored item, key, token, pending notification and the activity log.
  6. Export: exports are protected with a passphrase by default. An unencrypted export needs a second confirmation. Once you share an export, it is outside Fidune's control.

Use Delete all before you delete the app. Deleting the app removes its files, but iOS may keep some Keychain items after an app is deleted.

What BeeLabs receives

Security

Fidune keeps tokens and keys in the iPhone Keychain, encrypts what it stores, contacts only the hosts listed on How it works, and requires your approval for every message it sends. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe you have found a security problem, contact us at the address below.

Children

Fidune is a work tool for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because BeeLabs receives no content from the app, we hold no such information.

Changes to this policy

We will post any change on this page with a new date. If a change would let Fidune access or use your data in a way this policy does not describe, the app will ask for your consent before it does.
